A Family Tradition
Dr. Chen was trained to practice allopathic healthcare. After learning of her grandfather's role as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it inspired her to study and practice a more holistic approach to helping her patients. Integrating a Whole Body modality, Dr. Chen combines over 25 years of experience in both conventional and holistic dentistry.

Before establishing her La Jolla practice in 1999, Dr. Chen completed a one-year long training for implants at Loma Linda University in 1998. She also received advanced surgical and restorative dental implant training at UCLA in 2001. Dr. Chen has been successfully performing whole mouth, upper and lower fixed dental implant cases since 1998.
Dr. Chen has practiced in the La Jolla / San Diego California area since 1994. Today she is recognized as a highly qualified and esteemed Oral Physician. The techniques and procedures she uses are technologically advanced and virtually painless. You can be sure Dr. Chen will listen patiently to your questions and concerns as she is very interested in her patients' dental needs -- as well as their overall health and well-being.

Graduating from University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, Dr. Chen manages to acquire nearly 100 credits of Continuing Education each year.
